On Saturday August 26, 2023 Strangle Submission Series returns to a new venue: The Prairie Theater Exchange. The event will host 40 athletes from across Manitoba, representing 12 academies, competing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu matches.

Athletes will weigh in at noon, prior to the start of the event. Doors open to the public at 6:00PM, with the first matches beginning at 6:30PM. Strangle Submission Series' second event will feature 12 submission grappling (No Gi Jiu-Jitsu) matches, a Quintet Team Challenge match and a 4-man absolute tournament with the athletes competing for $1,000 cash prize and a championship belt.
